YEAR IN REVEIW!!!!!

This year has had its good and its bad, but with it all i am so thankful that i have been through it. It makes us stronger and a better person i feel. So here it goes.

BreAnna is now a Junior in High School and she is driving now. She is working part time and being a teen. She is still taking flying lessons when she has time and or money. She said that when she was learning to drive on the freeway at a certain speed she felt like she needed to pull up on the wheel like she does when she fly's. My dad takes her to her lessons because i cant do it. My feet belong on the ground i would be a nervous wreck if i had to see her up there. Thank goodness for Grandpa!!

TJ - Is in 3rd grade and is doing really well this year. His scores are above average and has many friends. He got to go to Idaho this year for the summer and came back a different kid. He is a great big brother and has really a great helper. Tj is now in basketball and has his first game at the beginning of the new year. He is also in boy scouts and is learning new things every week.

HaiLee - She is in 3rd grade as well and is also doing very well, She is off the charts for her testing. She is reading over 250 words a minute. She is so like her sister. HaiLee has many friends as well and is such a little mom to her little brother. She hasn't had that many seizures this year and hopefully no more for the next year. She hasn't even broke a bone this year so all is good with her. I might be able to take her out of her plastic bubble.

Treavor - Well what can i say about him, He has an older brother and a older sister that take good care of him so he really doesn't need to do anything for him self. He is learning how to write his name in preschool and being more independent but he has his older siblings tied around his little finger so getting him independent has been slow. Treavor is so funny and says the funniest things. He has been a good little boy and i am learning everyday what little boys do.

Tim - He is working at Boeing and we survived the strike. He is doing really good and He keeps busy by running kids around. Rescuing kids from locking her keys in the car. He leaves early for work and gets home before the kids get home so he has special time with them before i come home.

Me - well my days consist of being a mother, working and then coming home to being a mother again. I love it and would not change it for the world. my days are very speratic. I deal with everything from dating, driving down to how to read and write.

That is the very small version of what our year has been like, i hope that you have a great holiday and a wonderful new year.

The pesky flame!!!

This is our cat Gunther. He just came in from the snow and see what he does. It is very funny i had to post it!! I would have never believed it if i didn't see it for my self. BreAnna took the video on her new camera.

IDAHO SNOW !!!! LOVE YA POP!!!

I love these pictures!! this is my father in law and they live in Idaho, This is how much snow they have gotten the past couple of days. I think that i like them so much because it is not me out there. It would be fun to play in though. One year we went to visit them and they had snow and the kids were playing out there and Hailee decided to put her tongue on the chain fence. Yes it did stick, i was laughing so hard that i couldn't even help her. Good times in Idaho!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BREANNA 17 / SNOW DAY

BIRTHDAY GIRL AND SNOW

I cant believe that she is 17. The pictures were taken with a camera that we got her for her birthday.

Earings from her Grandmother

As most of you know I had her at a very early age. When i turned 17 i was getting maternity clothes. So we pretty much grew up togather. BreAnna is such a great kid. I could not have asked for better. I am very lucky to have her and very sad that she is growing up and only have a few more years with her. I dont know were the time has gone it seem like just yesterday she was brought into this world. I love you BreAnna.

Christmas Decorations

This Angel has been on my tree since i moved away from home. I love it and believe it or not the lights always work, I have never had to replace the lights that she is holding.

My snowmen collection, its small but growing

And our Turnblum tree, I put every ornament on it this year and it is covered with so many hand made decorations from my kids.

These stockings are made by my mom. When i was young they were always up and my sister and i got to go through my parents decorations that they didn't want any more and my sister and i always play a game or something to get what we want and i never win, she always got the bigger room or what ever it was and this time I won. So i display them with pride.
Merry Christmas to all!!!!

Grandpa's Grave

This is me and my sister at my grandfathers grave. When we went to Forks my sister was also there being a tour guide for some of her friends. We met up at my grandfathers grave. In the Twilight books it talks about going to a field and it just so happens to be on my grandmothers ranch which is across from the cemetery were alot of my ancestors are buried. I have always taken pictures through out my kids lives by their relatives graves it was nice to be able to do it with my sister.

TJ turns 9

Every kids birthday we give them a choice, We can either do something fun like have a party, do something fun as a family or we get them a present. This year TJ had a few of his friends over to help him celebrate another year. How was i to know that they were going to stay up till 3am to play Wii and then wake up again at 6am. Boys sure do have energy. I think he had a good time. The next morning when they were cleaning up their sleeping bags and such there was popcorn, chips, crumbs from cookies and pizza all over the floor and even down the hall to his bedroom. They had a good time. Happy Birthday TJ!!!!!!!!

Laughing!!

There is nothing more sweet than when a baby laughes. We had Beths baby along with us for the trip out to Forks and i was in the back seat making him laugh. He was cracking me up. He is such a good baby except when he spits up on ya. :)

Here are the girls taking pictures of First Beach the picture didnt turn out like i thoguht it would but it was very windy. i didnt take many pictures because the girls had thier cameras out.

It was really windy at First Beach, here is Angie and Olivia. I had a really good time, it was great to be away with no kids and just have some good old laughs with some friends. We need to do more of this that is for sure.

First Beach Forks Washington

This is First Beach out in Forks, When i had a girls weekend some of my friends decided to go to Forks to visit the sites from the Twilight books. We had a great time showing them my home town. Here are some pictures that i thought were really pretty

When we first got into Forks it was poring rain as usual for Forks. We went to the High school and Beth saw a truck that had a dent in it, so she decided to pretend that the truck was going to hit us and so she used her Vampire strength to save us from the truck hitting us. :)

I learned something great at church today that i have to share. Alot of times we forget who we are. We get so involved in raising our kids, working, doing everything for everyone else that we forget to take care of our selves. This last year has been an extremely hard year for me. One thing i know is that i love being a mom. I have been a mom since i was very young and if there is anything that i know is that i am a good mom. I work hard to make sure they have everything that they need. I love kids in general. I was a girl scout leader for several years and loved it. I was a primary teacher of many ages and again loved it. This year it has been questioned. I have been really put to the test as a mom. I had to question my self many time when before i just knew and didn't have to think much of it. It was natural to me. Every day i would have to question my self on everything i did as a mother. Until i had the realization when i was doing my visiting teaching. If i am doing everything i need to do as a woman, a mother, god will take care of the rest. I believe that has what got me through it all. I surrendered what was out of my control and i feel so much better about being a mom. I am taking care of my self by not questioning me being a mother. I am confident in what i do again and taking time for my self again. I know that as a mother there are many obstacles we go through and this is just one hurdle i have gotten over. And next time i am going to be confident in what i say and do and put it in gods hands while taking care of my needs first by loving myself so i can love others.

Lukes Mom!!

Everyone has a mommy and even Luke our dog. When i got luke i saw his mommy and his mommy wasnt that big. Luke must have taken after his dads side. My friend has his mommy Abbie. It was fun to show the kids that even Luke has a mommy. Come to find out Luke has a lot of traits that his mom does. We got luke when he was only about 8 weeks old and it is funny how much they are like with out even knowing each other. So no matter what you are dog, cat, human we all have a little bit of our mom's in us.

HALLOWEEN!!

Treavor is a cowboy, HaiLee a gypsie, and TJ is a skeleton.

My dad takes the kids every year to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins, for some reason the kids thought the bigger the better so after over 200lbs of pumpkin they head home. I just love these pictures of the kids walking out with my dad.

OCEAN SHORES!

Tim and I had the opportunity to get a way for the weekend. A much needed time away from the kids and everyday life. This is a view from our hotel room. We were able to watch the sunset the first night right from our room. Most of the pictures that i have were of the sunset. It was so beautiful and so peaceful. The sun dropped right into the ocean.

This is Tim watching the sunset while i was camera happy.

Can you find the Seagull?

If anyone knows me i am deathly afraid of motorcycles. When i was a kid my cousin took me on a ride on the farm and we crashed. I was about 8 years old or something. So i have not been on one since. Well while i was shaking to death by just the thought of it i decided to face my fear and go on a moped. I was so scared that i was shaking. Well Tim takes off and i was supposed to follow him and for some reason i put on the gas the same time i was putting on the brake. I about crashed again. So i walked the bike back to the place and the big huge guy says that i can do it and taught me how to put on the break the right way and the gas. He also told me that if I could ride a bike i could do this. So i took a deep breath and headed to the road. When i caught up with Tim he was very proud of me and gave me more courage to continue to go. In these pictures i was so scared but i did it and now i am a pro. Well at least on the beach. The next day we went on them again and i was such a pro. We had a good time and made it back in time to celebrate my favorite holiday Columbus Day!
