Grandpa's Grave

This is me and my sister at my grandfathers grave. When we went to Forks my sister was also there being a tour guide for some of her friends. We met up at my grandfathers grave. In the Twilight books it talks about going to a field and it just so happens to be on my grandmothers ranch which is across from the cemetery were alot of my ancestors are buried. I have always taken pictures through out my kids lives by their relatives graves it was nice to be able to do it with my sister.

TJ turns 9

Every kids birthday we give them a choice, We can either do something fun like have a party, do something fun as a family or we get them a present. This year TJ had a few of his friends over to help him celebrate another year. How was i to know that they were going to stay up till 3am to play Wii and then wake up again at 6am. Boys sure do have energy. I think he had a good time. The next morning when they were cleaning up their sleeping bags and such there was popcorn, chips, crumbs from cookies and pizza all over the floor and even down the hall to his bedroom. They had a good time. Happy Birthday TJ!!!!!!!!

Laughing!!

There is nothing more sweet than when a baby laughes. We had Beths baby along with us for the trip out to Forks and i was in the back seat making him laugh. He was cracking me up. He is such a good baby except when he spits up on ya. :)

Here are the girls taking pictures of First Beach the picture didnt turn out like i thoguht it would but it was very windy. i didnt take many pictures because the girls had thier cameras out.

It was really windy at First Beach, here is Angie and Olivia. I had a really good time, it was great to be away with no kids and just have some good old laughs with some friends. We need to do more of this that is for sure.

First Beach Forks Washington

This is First Beach out in Forks, When i had a girls weekend some of my friends decided to go to Forks to visit the sites from the Twilight books. We had a great time showing them my home town. Here are some pictures that i thought were really pretty

When we first got into Forks it was poring rain as usual for Forks. We went to the High school and Beth saw a truck that had a dent in it, so she decided to pretend that the truck was going to hit us and so she used her Vampire strength to save us from the truck hitting us. :)

I learned something great at church today that i have to share. Alot of times we forget who we are. We get so involved in raising our kids, working, doing everything for everyone else that we forget to take care of our selves. This last year has been an extremely hard year for me. One thing i know is that i love being a mom. I have been a mom since i was very young and if there is anything that i know is that i am a good mom. I work hard to make sure they have everything that they need. I love kids in general. I was a girl scout leader for several years and loved it. I was a primary teacher of many ages and again loved it. This year it has been questioned. I have been really put to the test as a mom. I had to question my self many time when before i just knew and didn't have to think much of it. It was natural to me. Every day i would have to question my self on everything i did as a mother. Until i had the realization when i was doing my visiting teaching. If i am doing everything i need to do as a woman, a mother, god will take care of the rest. I believe that has what got me through it all. I surrendered what was out of my control and i feel so much better about being a mom. I am taking care of my self by not questioning me being a mother. I am confident in what i do again and taking time for my self again. I know that as a mother there are many obstacles we go through and this is just one hurdle i have gotten over. And next time i am going to be confident in what i say and do and put it in gods hands while taking care of my needs first by loving myself so i can love others.

Lukes Mom!!

Everyone has a mommy and even Luke our dog. When i got luke i saw his mommy and his mommy wasnt that big. Luke must have taken after his dads side. My friend has his mommy Abbie. It was fun to show the kids that even Luke has a mommy. Come to find out Luke has a lot of traits that his mom does. We got luke when he was only about 8 weeks old and it is funny how much they are like with out even knowing each other. So no matter what you are dog, cat, human we all have a little bit of our mom's in us.

HALLOWEEN!!

Treavor is a cowboy, HaiLee a gypsie, and TJ is a skeleton.

My dad takes the kids every year to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins, for some reason the kids thought the bigger the better so after over 200lbs of pumpkin they head home. I just love these pictures of the kids walking out with my dad.
