Treavor got is own tackle box finally! and a bunch of stuff to put in it. He was in heaven. He also got his own pocket knife.

Treavors Birthday Fishing Trip & Library

Here is Treavor and our neighbor Sammy, Sammy is Treavors best friend and i love that he has a friend so close. Here they are quiet reding a book on our front yard. Trust me it didnt last long!

MY TOSSED SALAD GARDEN UPDATE

My first Zucchini from my very own garden. Isn't it pretty? i was going to just take a picture of it on its bush or what ever you call it and it came off. I don't know if it is too soon but it sure looks pretty. I guess it is only something a mother can love.

Here is another picture of one still growing. Again its so pretty and green!!

And this is a birds eye view of what the garden has become. ITs really big and in the mixed of stuff i am sure i am growing very big weeds but i dont know for sure so i dont pick them. If anyone knows what squash leaves look like and you see them in here let me know:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREAVOR

Today is Treavors 5th Birthday. My baby is not a baby any more. He is the funniest kid ever. Treavor is so excited to go to Kindergarten. The first thing he said this morning was I get to go to school. We had to explain to him that it will be next September. He also now gets the top bunk. Time sure has gone by fast for him and i am so thankful and proud that he is my son. I love you Treavor!!! Happy 5th Birthday!!

LIFE IN GENERAL

Treavor goes to an in-home daycare. He has the best time there and the teacher is the best. Her husband has Alzheimer's and has been there for the past 4 years that Treavor has gone there. On Monday i get a call that Dave is passing away and if i could come get Treavor. I rush out the door from work and let them know what is going on. I think i made it to the daycare in a record 10 min. When i got there there were 3 kids left to pick up. Treavor being one of them. I asked if there was something i could do to help and the family said we will be OK. So i took Treavor and he asked me questions about what was going on. I told him that Dave is no longer going to be around that he was very sick and he is in heaven with our dog Reba. Treavor knew he was sick because he helped Vicki out all the time with him. They would go to the store and Dave would be in his wheel chair and he would slide his feet off and Treavor would put them back on the wheel chair. Treavor and Dave were buds for the past 4 years. I told Treavor several times how sick he was but didn't quite let him know about the death thing. So Tim and i spent the day with him and took him to lunch and then to walmart were he was able to get a toy. We made it a good day for him. The next day Vickie was open for daycare. Like she says she has had 6 months to morn his death and the kids are what make it easy for her. So the next day Treavor went with Flowers in hand and made sure to make Vickie smile. Dave will be missed. I am so proud of Treavor because i asked him how his day was the next day and he said good. Vickie was good and i made her smile.

Here is TJ, The coast guard came and talked about life jacket safety and TJ was picked to be the demonstrator. He thought it was fun!

Here are my little fishing buddies. After we went there we took them to Rattle Snake Lake to do more fishing and it was the first time they really were able to cast thier pole. Even Treavor at age 4 was able to cast his pole out. We all had a good time and I was so proud of them for learning to fish. Now for Treavors Birthday this month he wants to go fishing!!! Finally one of my kids LOVE TO FISH as much as I do.
